Deputy Regional Director

VATOCE is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Deputy Regional Director - Jeff Smith. Jeff is a veteran of many different VATSIM FIRs and ARTCCs and brings a wealth of experience to the role. We look forward to working closely with Jeff in the future.

2007 CONVENTION

The Oceania Convention held on the weekend of the 6th and 7th of October was a great success! Many great presentations filled the day Saturday, before dinner that evening. Sunday saw a visit to the Point Cook RAAF museum, followed by a barbeque and Roulettes display.

ABOUT

VATOCE is the Oceanic Region of the VATSIM Network, administering Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.

VATSIM is a worldwide network dedicated to providing a simulated Air Traffic Control environment. Free software allows pilots to connect their home flight simulator software to the network to interact with other pilots and receive ATC from real people.
